Here is the quiet point of all the above. A 1-carat lab-grown diamond now costs roughly 75–80% less than its mined equivalent at identical 4Cs. Scale that to 3 carats — where mined natural diamonds become exponentially more expensive — and the gap becomes almost philosophical.
